I’m trying to make a best guess of how long to plan for photos.
Here’s the basics for our set up – The wedding is about 80 people. We are not doing a first look. I am planning to do photos of my mom and I and my BM’s and I before the ceremony. I am also hoping to do pics of Fiance with his family and Groomsmen pre ceremony as well. Bridal party is small – 3 Bridesmaid or Best Man and 3 Groomsmen. We also both have small families so not that many staged pics as there aren’t that many arrangements of people we need.
So how long do you think it will take? How long did yours take?

I would guess we took about an hour and a half total. We didn’t have a bridal party or anything like that to worry about, so our group pictures with family took about 30 minutes tops. I wish we would have had longer for our one on one pictures, but my hair ended up taking 3 HOURS for some crazy reason, so we only had about 30-45 minutes for our first look pictures. We snuck in a little bit more time after the ceremony when our guests started eating.

We didn’t do a first look either but did some before the ceremony with the boys and girls. We ended up taking about an hour between the ceremony and reception while our guests mingled, ate, and drank. I felt like an hour was a perfect length of time and we got all the pictures we wanted and then some.

@Glasgowbound: id ask your photographer. Every one is different

You did not set your poll up to allow for multiple choices, just FYI.
We did ALL of our pics before the ceremony. We didn’t have a bridal party. I think family pictures took about 20-30 minutes. We did a special session with just the two of us, and I think that was an hour or an hour and a half (went off site to take photos). If you stayed onsite and didn’t want as extensive a selection of portraits of just the two of you, it’d probably only take about 15-20 minutes.
