I was planning on getting invitations for my November wedding out by August. I work for a printing company and they were supposed to work on my invites, but we’ve been incredibly busy and it keeps getting put on the back burner. Understandable, but it’s a priority for me!!
To avoid further aggravation and losing more time, I’m thinking of just biting the bullet and ordering from Wedding Paper Divas. I found one I really like. How long does that process normally take? Would I have time to order samples first? And the online template seems to be pretty cut and dry about what goes where, but I have specific wording I want to put on there, is that possible?
HELP!!!! Thanks in advance!!!

BurlapnLace: I’d suggest ordering samples to see how the paper looks and feels. We used their Pearl white shimmer for our invitations but on the sample we noticed that ink smeared even when we let it dry, and no matter what kind of pen we used – so for our RSVP cards we used the regular white paper. They were very helpful over the phone and online, and when I did order from them the invitations arrived several days ahead of the scheduled delivery date. I’m sorry I don’t remember the exact timing.

You can ask WPD for additional wording etc, when you go to checkout. I ordered our save the dates from them, and I asked for some things to be re aligned and they sent me an email proof about 3 days after I sent the request and it looked awesome. It took about 3 weeks in total, from order date, including revisions and approving the final mockup, to shipping and getting them in the mail. Keep ibn mind that is probably a bit longer than their normal timeframe, because I am in Canada and the shipping takes a bit longer with customs etc.

BurlapnLace: I used Invitations by Dawn and I received my invites about 5 to 7 working days after I did the final proof approval. It was pretty great.
