I’m having a professional florists make most of my centerpieces for guest tables, but I’m making 3 low centerpieces for our sweet heart table and 2 flower arrangements for our ceremony. My problem is that I don’t know if I can get away with making the arrangements the night before and putting them in the fridge. I will be using wet floral foam. Or should I make them the day of the wedding.
My ceremony will be @ 6:30 pm in August.
Thanks! any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I did all my flowers. The peonies were a little limp the day after but the roses(pale pink Titanic roses from Fifty Flowers) were still looking great upon returning from our honeymoon 8 days after the wedding. All were in floral foam with a few drops of food.
I think too that correct prep of the flowers is key. Make sure to cut the stems underwater.
Do not put your flowers in a fridge. Turn the AC on and close any curtains.

Thanks! What happens if I put them in a fridge?

The temperature of a regular fridge is a lot colder than a floral fridge. They will essentially freeze and when they come out be wilted. A tip from a florist friend of mine!
