I voted 6 months or less, though it’s probably actually 6-8.

I REALLY hope it’s less, cause I need all the time I can to plan!

I’ll be waiting a while. We’re both still in school (he’s in grad school and I’m doing a post-bacc and planning on applying for grad school) and LDR. C’est la vie. I don’t mind at this point–I found my guy and I love that we’re both supporting each other’s professional lives/goals. ๐Ÿ™‚

@MaidMarian:  You’re planning to propose? Wow, that’s brave! I’m impressed. I’m a bit of an unconventional person and definitely a feminist, but I still don’t know that I’d have the guts to propose.

@MissMarple:  my mum proposed twice (and was turned down twice) so I’m kind of okay with the idea ๐Ÿ™‚ it’s actually been quite fun looking at potential rings for him haha.

Looks like it may not be an issue anyway, bf told me that 2014 “wasn’t out of the question” whereas the earliest I’d propose is 2015, so we’ll see ^^

I selected 1.5 years or less. This is based off of how much DBF seems to want to propose to me soon (and my intuition saying that he will ask me within this upcoming year), coupled with how he hasn’t started the process of buying a ring to propose with…or at least as far as I know. It will likely take him at least until the summer of 2014 to save up. Then again, DBF insists that the proposal be a total surprise, so it could be pretty much any time.

I know its coming before May 2014.  But he’s told me over and over its not happening in 2013.  We’re going to NYC in December.  He told me again last night that it’s not happening there.  He doesn’t want me to be disappointed.  I get it.  And I know it won’t happen, it isn’t misdirection.

I’m guessing it will be March/April.

@kpcascio:  For me, six months or less for sure. SO mentioned to me that we would FOR SURE be engaged by May, but I have no idea when it’s coming! The anticipation is killing me at the moment! Secretly hoping for a holiday proposal ๐Ÿ™‚

I voted 3 months or less. At first SO wanted to propose before March 2014, but said he’d want to do it sooner after we get my ering. So hopefully by next month December or January 2014!!! Soooo antsy!

I voted 1 year or less.  Recently started dating my SO (about a month now) and I know he’s the one.  He’s a little older than me and I know he wants a family and to settle down so I don’t see him dragging things out if he’s sure.  It’s such an exciting feeling to know you finally found the one you want to marry.

I voted 3 months or less, but it’s happening the end of DECEMBER!!!! He thinks he’s sneaky, but my radar is on high alert and I know what’s up!! I even bought a diamond dazzle stick today to keep in my purse, lol!! I. Am. A. Mess.

I’m hoping that it’s going to be much less than 6 more months, but that’s what I voted for. I really don’t think it’s going to be Christmas, but our 18 month anniversary is right around Valentine’s Day. That’s a big possibility. Then again, I could reach our 2 year anniversary and still be waiting. I’ll be 34 by then, so I’ll be getting incredibly anxious. I just can’t tell with my guy. He seems to be giving me hints sometimes, but then he seems to back off.

We just got back from a visit with my parents. On the plane home he told me he thought about asking for my parents blessing, but felt weird about it as its only the 2nd time they’ve met.

He said with a wink, “maybe in march” (when we next visit them). We’ve already discussed rings, size, budgets and shopped a bit. He has the money so there’s no saving factor. We planned on a June 2015 wedding…

so Im hoping April or May!!!

7 months or less! I don’t think he would make me wait past our 3rd anniversary, that’s in June…so I could possibly have a little while to wait ๐Ÿ™‚

I honestly have no idea. But after this text exchange yesterday I don’t even know what to think!! We are goofballs and to be honest, I can’t tell which parts were joking and which weren’t! Well other than the airport thing lol

A million emoticons But texts are what we have left when we are in different continents. Sigh

I voted a year or less. SO and I have recently discussed, and I think it is safe to assume it won’t be until August/September of 2014. He wants to save for my dream ring, and I am all for that. Waiting is difficult, but I’d rather wait and have it be perfect.
