I keep hoping it’ll be Christmas, so a month and a half away, but I chose two or less years… Because I’m assuming he’s going to make me wait a long time. We’ve been together for three and a half years and I’ve been ready for one. My boyfriend is hard to read and also doesn’t talk seriously about anything so I can’t even really fathom a guess!

he td me it will be by the end of the year for sure, but I REALLY think it will be either at our anniversary (thanksgiving weekend) or Christmas :))) he’s been wayyyy too excited over planning our anniversary, so I’m leaning towards that. Fortunately at this point, I know it’s coming soon one way or the other, so I dont get too worked up over “is this the time!?! Is it today?!” anymore (weirdly enough!) 🙂

I said 6 months or less. He knows the ring, has the money and says all that’s standing in the way are some legal issues over splitting a business with his ex-wife. We have kids and at some point they need to see concrete commitment. He tells me today he’s having a realtor coming over this week to begin the process of selling his house. We speak frequently about how to best merge our sons. We’ve always said they will move into my house (only AFTER we are married) and that we don’t want him and his 9 year old and very sensitive son to move into an apartment then 6 months later uproot him again into my house. That ring better show up soon since he doing a whack job with our timeline. We shall be discussing this tonight as my sons are leaving to go over there now. I love that flip-flopping, timeline screwing goofball. My horoscope says my lover and I will either have an emotional breakup or a step to permanent commitment tomorrow. I think I’ll be safest with some Xanax for breakfast.

I’m thinking 3 months or less (maybe as little as 1.5 months). He’s asking my dad at Christmas and I know he’s been talking to his parents about rings and whatnot. Maybe a Christmas proposal? Or at least shortly thereafter!

Our 4 year anniversary is on Monday, but I am absolutely certain that he will not be proposing then. He has said that it will definitely be before our 5 year anniversary. I picked 2 years just in case- sh!t happens

@kpcascio:  I voted for three months or less. We’ve been ring shopping.. I don’t know 100% that he has purchased it, but he did tell me to be sure I keep my nails manicured for the next 2 months.

It’s not too hard to wait. We’ve been at this for a while since he’s living in Georgia and I’m in North Carolina.

@leftyletters:  Thats the EXACT timeline i’ve been given too! – no later than June 30, 2014.  Like you im ticking off the major holidays but hoping he aims for sooner rather than later.

Between Summer 2014 and Christmas 2014….I hope.

He’s not giving me another timeline (after he had to indefinitely push back our first timeline). Oh well. I can hope.

@MissAmethyst:  AH!  How exciting for you!!  My BF said it will happen within a year, but I am DYING to at least know if he has asked my parents yet!
