I waited nearly 6yrs with my last ex and boy do I regret it. I’m not actively waiting but I am dating someone now. The next guy won’t get 6yrs. 1-2yrs at best.

I voted within 3 mos, we will be moving in together this Sept/Oct (my parents have no idea) and it’s clear to him that we have to be engaged before then.  He needs to get his a** moving!

I also said 3 months as we have discussed that it will be this summer. I’m leaning towards the latter half of the season though.

I’d say over a year (been dating 1.5 years) if ever.

Uhmmm….. So I *think* he may do it this summer…….. but he does have until next summer to do it according to our timeline. I know he made the timeline extra long because he wants it to be a surprise. I thought we would do it on our 6th anniversary next month, but I don’t think he has a ring yet.

We shall see……..he’s been making comments about him being married soon recently!

But I agree with pp’s, I wouldn’t wait this long again for anyone. We got together at 20, so I never would have even thought he’d propose before 4 years. I told him I didn’t want to get married before 25. Now that we’re 26, he better step up!

I think I’m looking at some point in the next two years.

We’ve been together 3 years and got together when we were 21.

I had been thinking less than a year but now I think it’ll be longer than that *sob*. The hardest thing is working out when would be a good time to bring it up XD

I voted within 6 months, which is what I’m really hoping for after various conversations leaning towards that. We’re hoping to move in together in August, and he wants to wait until we’re close to finding a house. He has also that that by 2014 is a genuine possibility (trying to be all ‘mysterious’, as he puts it). We’ve been together for 7 years but are only 23.

Within the next few weeks!  He’s been extra romantic lately, and I think he just got the ring this week.  He also let it slip that he’s been trying to find a good time to talk to my parents…

We’ve been together for a year and a half now so I’m guessing within the next year. I’m guessing this because we want to be married for a year or so before we buy a house and we’re planning around 3 years before we do that. Laughing

I’ve already been waiting, but based on recent progress I think it will happen by the end of the year, but just to be safe I put within a year!
