I bought a really pretty keepsake sixpence card from Etsy. From what I understand, it’s being sent via postal mail. I placed my order on August 25th and the seller told me she had it in the mail the very next day. So that makes 18 days and it’s still a no-show. Is this normal for mail coming from Canada?
On one hand: I’m glad this is not some big thing (like my dress) that I’m waiting on. I’d be a wreck! LOL!
On the other hand: I’m still disappointed that it hasn’t shown.
I’ve sent a message to the seller. I’m waiting on a response. I’ll probably get one tonight as she’s been very good about getting back to me.

That seems too long to me

@CanadianMermaid: I was thinking so, too. But I’ve never had anything sent to me from Canada before. I was chalking it up to having to cross borders. :-/
So how long do you think it should take??

I dunno. I sent stuff to somebody in Canada weeks ago and it still hasn’t gotten to them! I am fully expecting it to show up at my door, returned to me any day now. Because that is the only reason I can think as to why she hasn’t gotten it yet. Otherwise it got lost in the mail and I don’t know what I would do about that!!! Gah… Okay, sorry. Tangent done. 18 days doesn’t sound completely unreasonable considering in the US it take sometimes 2 weeks to get something in the mail.

@Mrs Hedgehog: Well that makes me a feel a tiny bit better.
I’m hoping it shows up tomorrow

@Mrs Hedgehog: Sounds like you have terrible luck with the mail in general.
@Stellar Magnitude: I’d think that would be too long.
