Not long — they’ll usually quote you something like a 6-or-8 week time frame but then it will arrive faster. In my case, they had my dress in my size in stock so I got to take it home the same day I bought it!!

Still, you might want to get on that … in case you need any alterations done, even just a bustle. There’s no downside to having it done and hanging in your closet with months to spare!!

I was able to take my dress home the day that I found it at David’s Bridal since I bought a sample but they told me to give them 2 month’s lead time for the alterations (My first appt is in August for our October wedding).

I got my dress from DB and they told me to allow 12 weeks … it ended up coming in one. But you probably want to go ahead and order it just in case and also to allow time for alterations.

My BM’s dresses were within a week though they never contacted us to let us know they were in until we got a phone call saying would we like free shipping on the our purchase? Definately got the run around but yeah it doesn’t take that long for the dresses to come in

Mine told me it would take 8-10 weeks. Mine came in TWO. I was so pissed because I had to drive back to the store to pick it up. They only give you two weeks to get it.

Depends on the dress, and the size and the place where you order it. Some of Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses came right away and some took months so I would order atleast 4 months ahead

My coworker is getting married in July- and just purchased her dress. It came in in about two weeks. I also got mine from there, and while I had plenty of time, I think mine came in in about 3 weeks. Still better to get it sooner than later though, just to be safe!

I went to the store and chose my dress and correct size, then went home and ordered it from them online. I got free shipping, a coupon for free steam cleaning and pressing at my local DB, and my gown was at my house in less than a week.

I got mine within a month even though their estimated delivery date was 6 months from the date I ordered.

If your gown is newer (just came out in the latest round of gowns) than you need to order it soon. A lot of those are cut to order because the ones they had in production went to the stores.

If your gown is Vera, order it ASAP because lead time on some of those is sitting at 5-6 months. However, some of those you can order online and magically eliminate the lead time (I’m thinking the oh so popular, flange skirt dress, in particular).

Anything else, you have a little time, but I’d still get it done soon. If you’re planning on needing alterations, whether at DB or independently, you might want to build in time because September/October is an incredibly busy time for weddings.

My gown had a 12 week lead time, but came in after 9 nine days.

It took two months for my dress to come in. Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses take longer.

They told me it would be 3-4 weeks, I got it about a week after I ordered it.
