I’ve just purchased my wedding dress and I’m worried it won’t get here in time. It’s a Mikaella dress and it will need to be altered. I’m a bit smaller than their smallest size and I’m short. I’m worried that it won’t get here in time. My wedding is in July. The ladies at the store said it’s tight but they should get it here in time, but I’m worried that they’ll try to charge me for a rush order. Any help is appreciated!

I’m getting married this June and ordered my dress (Casablanca) about two weeks ago. When I purchased it they said it will be here on time without having to pay rush fees. Then a week after they called and said that they got a confirmation from the designer and that my dress would only be here June 8th (a week before the wedding) and that I need to pay rush fees. I said that’s not acceptable since they told me specifically that I wouldn’t need to pay it, and so the owner said “Ok then I will pay the rush fee for you”… Bottom line just make sure what you signed for and what they told you when you purchased, there is a slight chance they would do the same thing to you trying to squeez this rush fee out of you for nothing.
My dress would be here mid April.
