The aisle at the theater where we’re getting married is about 45 feet long.
We are making our own CD to be played at the ceremony so I need to know how many minutes of each song to play.
(1 song for the BMs – 4 of them – and 1 song for me).
I was thinking one minute for me and maybe 4 minutes for my BMs?
Too long? Too short?

That’s what the rehearsal is for ^_^

@Stace126: 2 feet per second for slow walking so expect it to take 23 seconds minimum for each bridesmaid to make it down the aisle. I would allow for 30 seconds to be safe. I would assume you will be layering them (one starts at 10 seconds into the song, the next goes 15 seconds later, and so on) so I would think you want a song that lasts at least 2 minutes if you give a bit of extra time for them to line up and get settled before their song ends and you walk down. So 3-4 minutes tops should be good. You can always work things out slower or faster at the rehearsal (or you can pactice at home by marking the distance on the sidewalk.)

@angeluscado: Well I don’t want to be making the CD the night before the wedding. It has to be ready to go and in the theater director’s hand BEFORE the rehearsal ….
@beachbride1216: Thank you! This makes sense!
