jweddingbee :  I knew within a few months. We started dating last July, and both voiced that we hoped and planned for marriage within about 4 months. He moved in a month after that, in November. We started looking at rings a couple months later, and he bought one in late January. Pretty sure he’s proposing sometime this month, and we plan to get married next year.

I think it’s totally possible for you to know that he is “the one”!

Well, I was friends with him a year before we started dating so I was pretty sure he was “the one” (or could be the one, if we were together) a few months before we started dating. Once we were dating for a couple months (we took it very slow the first month, as I was away for like half the month and he wanted to take it slow anyway), I knew for sure that we were great together and that he was the one I wanted to marry.

We were living together officially for three months when we got engaged, including unofficially living together for like 9-10 months, and together for a couple months over a year.

I would say that on our second date I had a strong feeling that he would be the man that I would marry. After a few months we started discussing it. We actually decided to get married just shy of a year after we met.

We both knew as soon as we met. However, we didn’t get engaged until we had dated for two years first.

We moved in together after about 3 months, and have now been together for 3.5 years. I knew at about the 1 year mark that I wanted to get married eventually, but I was 22 and in college and he’s a year younger than me. Now it’s a couple years later and he’s  the one talking about it seriously and he’s saving for a ring 🙂 It’s different for every couple, I have a friend who dated for 8 years and has now been married for 2, and my Future Sister-In-Law has been engaged for a year but only been together for less than 2.

Nine days after our first day he told me he was going to marry me and I knew he was right. About a month later we started talking seriously about getting engaged and our expectations from marriage. We got engaged after 6 months of dating. We moved super fast but to us it felt slow. We just knew. Though now we always kinda laugh about the fact that 3 years ago today we didn’t know the other person even existed, yet we’ve been married for over a year!

Started dating and moved in together after 18 months, and I didn’t really think about marriage for a while. It wasn’t until maybe we had been together about two and a half years that when I thought about him asking, I would say yes. It wasn’t that I was unsure before, I just honestly had never thought about it. Our best friends getting engaged definitely made me think about it more.

At about 9 months I started thinking about our future, at a year I was certain I wanted to marry him, he told me he felt sure at a year and a half and he proposed a year later at 2.5 years. We were 29 and 30 when we met.

The night of our first date, I called a friend of mine when I got home and told her I knew he was the one. I picked out my engagement ring 12 days in so I could tell a friend then and he could ask when it was time (I didn’t want to know when he was shopping but I am too detail oriented to not choose the ring haha). We moved in together after 8 months and I think we will be engaged between 1-1.5 years, as we already have discussed getting married in Fall 2017, a month or so after our 2 year anniversary. When you know, you know, am I right ladies?

I think we both knew right away, within the first month of dating, but I was certain after the second date. The feelings of “rightness” has grown over the last two and a half years. I’m waiting on a proposal in the next few weeks 🙂

We started dating at the end of August and were engaged by March, getting married in September (about a year later!). I couldn’t be any happier. After a previous engagement and a bad experience, I knew exactly what I wanted and couldn’t be more excited to marry the love of my life.

I knew about a year in that I could see myself maybe marrying him. We dated for 4 and a half years before getting engaged. We will be dating almost 6 years by the time we get married!
