door to door, it’s about an hour but i don’t consider walking to the bus stop and then walking to my office part of my commute. my bus ride is less than 30 minutes. going home, it’s about the same on the bus but my husband picks me up at the bus stop so i get home in less than an hour total.

@GeorgiaBride5: I live in Lawrenceville and my office is in Dunwoody. I take 285 to 85. Still learning my way around! It takes about 30 minutes in the morning and an hour home.

@ceebree: Nope, just lucky enough to be a sahw 🙂 Fortunately for us, Charlotte is very affordable especially compared to when we used to live in Mission Viejo.

@Linz1231: Oh yeah you are going the wrong way on 285! We live in Duluth, so I used to come down 85 (25 min to get to 285) and down 285 against traffic, then out 20. But they started doing construction on 20 which added another 15 min, hence the back roads now.
