About 20-25 minutes. I take the bus a little less than 5 miles from my apartment to my office downtown.

I used to drive 30-40 minutes each way, but recently changed jobs and now I have a 10-minute walk.

It depends on which job I go to. Monday through Friday it is a 30 minute drive in good traffic since I hit the early rush. Monday and Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings its a 15 minute drive each way.

28 minutes non rush hour, 40-45 minutes during rush hour or if I’m really unlucky and get stuck behind one SLOW car.  I travel back roads, no highway… so if its just me, I’m flying speed limit +10-15, a single other car on the road and its torture.

Bleck – I live almost 30 miles from work. But I am able to come in later/ leave later which helps with traffic and my commute is between 40-50 mins depending on traffic. But I love my job so I deal!!

About 35 minutes on a good day.  I take two busses, so I read and it just flies by.  Earlier this year I was commuting 1 hour 15 minutes.

I hate commuting. So much so, that instead of moving back in with my parents for 9 months before I move away this spring, I moved yet again to a house that is a 10 minute walk to work. It makes my life so much less stressful, especially in winter when the roads are bad, and it’s dark at 4:30. Walking can get chilly, but it’s the better option for me!

I honestly don’t mind my commute of 30-45 minutes.

I love where I live and my commute is on a two lane highway (turns into a freeway) and I have pleasure of seeing rolling green hills, wineries, cows being born, random animals etc. Just last week I had to be patient for a flock of wild turkeys…I really can’t complain too much considering it isn’t a concrete jungle.

Mine is 20-30 minutes, unless I work from home.

Working from home as a penniless writer. Whee! Previous commutes have been five minutes, forty minutes, and an hour.

45-60 minutes.  And I live in a place where a car is the way to go.  They’re working on improving public transit, but it’s slow going.
