So 4.5 hours. We will start getting ready around 1 so if you include all of that time it will be 10 hours.

5:30pm ceremony, 11pm dancing etc. ends.  So 5.5 hours total.  I’m in Washington state.  I’d like teh reception to go longer, TBH.. but the venue won’t allow it.

We’re in South Yorkshire.

Our first appointment is the hairdresser at 9 or 10am and the dancing finishes at 10pm.

Ceremony is at 5 pm. Reception ends at 9 pm.

We’re having a very informal wedding ceremony, no cocktail hour, and doing a murder mystery party as the reception. Fun party but not an all night event.

Our ceremony begins at 4pm and our reception finishes at 11pm although we are 90% certain that we’re going to extend to midnight (Victoria, Australia).

2pm ceremony

last orders 11.15pm, bar shuts 11.30pm, last song 11.45pm, all out by midnight.

Could pay for an extra hour but would rather not have people sloping off and finishing with a half empty room.

UK Bee – 12pm Ceremony

We’ll be starting to get ready at around about 7am and the reception will end at Midnight so our day will be around 17 hours for me!

It’ll be about 12.5 hours for the guests though if they arrive at 11.30am and stay the whole time 🙂

stephisaur:  my Future Mother-In-Law would *faint* at a 12.5 hour day for guests!! Being a UK expat, I totally get it, but my new Canadian family-to-be are appalled at a ceremony that starts before 5pm… Hehehe!
