Mine’s going to be between elbow length and fingertip. No pictures yet, it’s being made. But should have pretty soon, the wedding’s less than 3 months now so I need it soon! ^_^

Lillindy did it blow a lot when you were outside?  THat’s the look I want but Im scared it will be too distracting during the ceremony cuz its outside.

I am going to have a shoulder length circle veil. My whole outfit is very 50s inspiried, so I think this veil will be perfect. Here are three examples- I haven’t purchased mine yet!

I wanted simple, finger tip length or so and not too expensive, but I didn’t spend much energy looking.  Just got the first one that fit those criteria 🙂

Mine was a waltz length, 52" – designed to hit at midcalf.  I ordered a plain cut edge custom shape veil from Occansey Designs for ridiculously cheap, and then my aunt beaded the edge for me and we attached it directly to my headpiece.  I loved it!

It was actually so sheer it didn’t show up in too many of my photos, but here are two of my favorites, plus one that gives the best view of its length.  (click all to see larger)

Mine is a 108” mantilla veil, but I haven’t decided whether to wear it with or without the blusher, which changes it from a chapel length to a cathedral length….what do you think, ladies?

I’m having a long, dramatic cathedral length veil for the ceremony, and (likely) a hair feather/flower for the reception. I love the long veil, but I don’t want to step on it all night.

@emilybrooke: It did blow a bit in the wind, but for it to blow like that, my photographer actually had to throw it up to catch the wind, then kind of held onto it so she could control it a bit.  If you are worried about your veil flying too much, I’ve heard of people buying veil weights (or even little fishing weights).

Mine is the Jennifer Leigh Corby veil. It’s cathedral length with silver edging, pearls and rhinstones scattered around the edges. I love it! I’m just worried it’ll get really dirty because I have to walk down a long flight of dirt steps in the redwoods to get to the ceremony site.

    Here’s a picture:
