Hi everyone!
Just a simple question…how long is your video of your full wedding day?
I just booked my photog and videog from the same company and they said the video will be around 20-50 minutes??? I booked them for 12 hours for my wedding day and thats all i’ll get? I know there are a lot of dead time in between but it seems a bit ridiculous to only get that little…
I’m actually thinking of just increasing our photo package and cancelling the videog so that i can book someone else.
what do you think?

We had our videographers for around 6 hours and we ended up with a 3-minute highlight video and a 40-minute full length feature.

There are kind of two types of video edits: the short-form, which is usually 15 to 30 minutes long, and the long-form which is anything longer. Typically if someone is doing the short-form they will also include the full ceremony, toasts, maybe the special dances, etc., as separate chapters on the DVD. That way you get the fast-forward free version but you can also watch the things that are important to just you. You might ask about that.

We had our videographer for about 10 hours and we receive a 5 minute music video version and a longer 2 hour version including full ceremony and toasts.

We had our videographers for around 5 hours; we got a 3 minute highlight reel and a feature film of about an hour and fifteen minutes.
