So I ordered some engraved wooden hearts [these] on November 17th – 3 days later I contacted her to make sure she received payment, she said she had and she would send a proof within a few days.
And.. I’m still waiting.
Under the store policies it said it would be ready to ship in 1-2 weeks – should i contact her? or wait a little longer?
I guess I’m sort of impatient – need to send out our save the dates in February [making them by hand], and can’t print out the paper portion until I can visually see how large the wooden hearts are [plus i have to attatch magents to all of them].

@jenilynevette: I think if you haven’t received a proof you should definitely contact her! She set your expectation and failed.
I would also ask for dimensions, etc., so you can get moving without waiting for the physical delivery!

@jenilynevette: Maybe wait until Monday to message? The post could be slow right now. It has just past two weeks so may be on it’s way to you now!

I would contact her and just see what she says. Be polite and just mention what you have here. I ordered an item that seemed like it should be ready to ship right away and after two weeks had heard nothing from the seller. I contacted her and she promised to send it out by the end of the week and threw in a small freebie too. I received the item a week later.

@laceydoilies: pretty sure she hasn’t even sent them yet.. as she is supposed to send me a proof first, which I have never gotten/approved.

@jenilynevette: Sorry, I misunderstood, I thought you were talking about the proof in a two week turnover period! Definitely contact her, then!

I’m sure she’s super busy with the holidays, but I had purchased them before the holidays for a reason!

@jenilynevette: You didnt get a confirmation email? I’ve always gotten one when I’ve ordered from etsy. I dont think I’ve ever actually had a seller contact me personally to tell me they received my payment.

@allyfally: I did get a confirmation email, as I used paypal. But, I had contacted her a few weeks previously asking about differant fonts – she said she would send me a list of fonts after payment was recieved, which was why I made sure she recieved payment.
And I never recieved a list of fonts, either.

@jenilynevette: Oh, okay. I thought you were just meaning you wanted a confirmation message. I’d definitely contact her then. Maybe she’s just got a lot going on and needs to be reminded.
