(Closed) How long should music for seating guests be?

I’m not entirely sure what you mean.  Our music started playing 30 minutes before the ceremony as guests arrived bit by bit.  Then it went into ceremony.

Same here. We started the easy listening/soft rock type music about 30 minutes prior to start and people were seated. They knew that things were ready to go when the officiant stood up at the front.

I used to play weddings, and general rule of thumb was 20-30 minutes before hand, depending on the size of the wedding. Basically, as soon as the first people start showing up, music goes on.
