My first took about 9 months. My second was well over a year. But my third, we fell after a drunken accident, lost it, then fell again two cycles later(only having sex once roughly near ovulation) So after all the troubles with our second, we fell 2 times in 3 cycles.
What I figured out, is that after breastfeeding it takes me 1-2 years to ovulate again. I’d breastfed my first for almost a year a started right after finishing, so it took a long time for my hormones to be back to normal. Breastfeeding didn’t work out with my second, so my hormones regulated much quicker. I’m prone of PND so I figure it’s my bodies way of stopping me being overun with babies
Trying sucks so hard. Like it’s the worst. I truly hope you’re able to fall pregnant very soon with a minimal of stress.

wow, congratulations on your beautiful family. 3 Kids would be my dream, but it won’t happen due to my age. You’re right, trying sucks. Especially because it takes so long one full month to find out 😅

I’m so sorry about your CP. Similar to you, I got pregnant with my first on our 9th month of TTC. We don’t know if we have issues, but we suspect my husband’s antidepressants could affect his sperm.
We started NTNP and got pregnant on the 5th month we hit my fertile window. That ended in a CP. We started actively TTC after that, and got pregnant on our second month (so I call that 7 months total). Our second was born just two weeks ago.
I hope you get your BFP soon ❤️

Baby #1 took four cycles. For baby #2, I got pregnant on the 5th cycle and miscarried at 12 weeks. The first cycle trying after that finally resolved was a chemical pregnancy. Got pregnant again three cycles later, and that babe just took her first steps!

Baby one who is now 3.5 years old took 13 months to conceive. I ended up pregnant on my last oral medication cycle before we planned on moving on to IUI. I have PCOs, lots of eggs but they have trouble getting out of the gate. So far we have been actively trying for baby number two for about 18 months. Three failed medicated cycles with my OB referred to the fertility clinic. There we moved on to IUI with oral meds and trigger shots. First IUI failed, Second, we never made it to insemination due to lack of response to meds from me. The second full IUI failed. We took a break from fertility treatments. Went back to the clinic in April. May started meds for IVF had my egg retrieval on June first. Current have 15 embryos on ice awaiting transfer which will hopefully be in July.
