From what I’ve heard/read it’s a year because you are going through many of the married couple firsts in that first year – first valentines day, first Christmas, etc.  I still feel like a newlywed even though it’s been 17 months since our civil ceremony!  ๐Ÿ™‚

I’d say up to a year. After that you’re an old married couple ๐Ÿ˜‰

Timewise – a year but I think I will consider us newlyweds for much longer.

I think people will consider you newly weds until the one year mark or so. Once you are married for 2+ years others wont see you as newly weds but that doesn’t mean you can’t still consider yourselves to be newly weds. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hubby & I are 3 months away from the one year mark—EEEEK!

Today my hubby reminded me that he asked me to marry him 5 months ago.  Yeah we had a pretty short engagement, only four months!

I think I’d consider myself a newlywed until our first anniversary!
