@MrsN14:  Its taking us about 45 days. However ours was a FM short sale.  So those usually take 45-60 days and we weren’t in a huge rush. We close on 5/19 =D

Congrats on the accepted offer!

Depends on how fast the loan gets approved.  I’ve seen closings as fast as a week, but it’s rare.  Your offer would have included a specific length of eescrow (usually 30-45 days).  If you we’re pre qualified already before house hunting, it should be pretty seamless. Just a warning there might be some “behind the scenes drama” with the sellers depending on the reason for the estate sale, but moots turn out ok.  Congrats!!

It depends on both your bank and the sellers. Was that not outlined in the offer? We had talked with the bank and the sellers about it and put it in our official offer. We closed in 30 days.

It took us about 58 days.  But for 14 of those days we were sorta in negotiations still.  They had accepted our offer but wanted us to sell our house in 2 weeks.  When we couldn’t we made another offer that they accepted and then we closed April 30th.  We gave a first offer on March 3rd.

@MrsN14:  Thank you!  I can’t wait for this to all be done and over with.  I feel like there is too much time in between the bid & the closing.

Congratulations! It’s hard to say how long it will take, it definitely depends on the bank.  Our offer was accepted on March 1st.  We were supposed to close on April 12th but it ended up getting pushed to April 19th.

@MrsN14:  35 days or so. It really depends on what your agent and lender disclosed ont he paperwork. If you want to puch the date up you should idscuss it with your agent and lender and have them draw up the paperwork.
