Ours was almost exactly 12 months.  It was a pretty good amount of time.  Almost too long.  We thought 9 months would have been perfect- but we had a smaller wedding so a bit less to plan.

Just over 5 months. It was plenty of time for us to plan and pay for exactly what we wanted, but everything was super low key so that made it easier.

We will have around 8months engagement. We didnt have to sacrifice the venue but we are sacrificing the day by having the wedding on a Friday. Turns out it’s getting more and more popular to have Friday wedding. 90% of our guests already RSVP and vendors are giving noticeable discounts for doing the wedding not on a saturday.

It will be about 3 years. We made it long for financial reasons and wanting to buy a house first. Locking in 2016/2017 prices is a nice perk too 🙂

Ours will be 10 months. We knew that we wanted a summer date because we both teach, but we didn’t want to wait an extra year past this summer. It helps that we’re being married on a family farm, so we didn’t have to worry about venues being booked out.

We had a 13 month engagement and a Friday evening wedding so we could have the venue we wanted.

It will be 2 years and 2 months when we get married in August. Honestly, I had a moment a few days ago when I was like, “wait, has it really been 2 years?” It flew by. The year of planning your wedding is a whole year, and it flies. We had a year of being engaged and then we dug into planning. It feels like the right amount of time. We got engaged in June and then announced to people. I had a few months of slowly seeing friends/family who wanted to congratulate me in person. Being engaged felt “new” to me for about 6 months. After Christmas, I was ready to start thinking about wedding planning. I started hanging out on the bee more often and gathering DIY ideas, making a huge pinterest board, thinking about wedding dresses. In March I decided to wear my mom’s wedding dress so we took it to a designer to do some fairly major alterations (it had one of those turtle neck things…but now it doesn’t!) Then by late spring I was putting deposits down. I did take it slow and procrastinated at times, but honestly it never felt like a very long time. I CAN’T EVEN BELIEVE I’m getting married in less than 3 months. Time flies.

Mine will be close to 2.5 years. I wouldn’t have minded to get married next year, but my fiance wanted to wait and just enjoy the engagement (as we would have had to start planning immediately otherwise). Now we’ll have plenty of time to save (paying for everything ourselves) AND we can get married on my parents’ anniversary! So excited about that!

21 months and I wish it was shorter! But now the wedding is only 3 months away which is exciting!

Ours would be a 2 year engagement.  We need all the time to plan 3 weddings (or should I say celebration) without getting stressed out. First will be on June 2019, second- Jan 2020, and third -March 2020.

I’m not in a rush to get married as we have forever for that; and I’m still enjoying the feeling of being engaged. It will be all in good time 🙂
