Our whole wedding from start to finish (ceremony and reception) was about four hours. We’re weird.

Mine will be 5 hours because that’s how the venue books it. Ceremony will be an extra 1 hour which includes seating people, 30 min. ceremony, 15 min. flex time.

We have a 30 min ceremony, a 1hr cocktail hour and a 4 hour reception, so 5 hours total for the reception!

We have the space for everything (ceremony too) for 6 hours.  Cocktail hour begins at 7pm, then dinner and what not… so booze and food will be happening for 5 hours.

Ours was 6 hours including cocktail hour, but excluding the ceremony. So cocktail hour started at 5, and the reception ended at 11.

Our reception was between 4 and 5 hours, so I voted 4 in the poll. I think you should book 5 hours to be on the safe side and not feel rushed if you are having a good time

including cocktail hour but excluding the ceremony, ours was 7 (should have been 6 but we kept everything going for an extra hour – we were having too much fun).
