We did a weeklong Caribbean cruise.  It was a perfect amount of time to get away and destress from everything!

@canuckandakiwi:  We’re going to Europe for a month! I wanted it to be a surprise but my fiance was so excited the day he booked it all and he couldn’t wait to tell me!

@canuckandakiwi:  Ours was just over 2 weeks. Our wedding was in St. Louis, MO and our honeymoon was Las Vegas, Paris, Monaco, and Rome. 3-4 days in each place. 🙂 It actually worked out perfectly and we didn’t feel rushed.

We will be getting married Sunday night, leaving Monday night around 7pm for Jamaica, but we wont get there until Tuesday around noon. Then we will leave  the next Tuesday afternoon and get back late that night. A week and a day.

We waited nine months to go on our honeymoon because of our work. Our honeymoon was a royal carribean cruise and was 18 days in Europe. We will not be travelling for a long, long time now but we have a lot of good memories.

@canuckandakiwi:  I don’t think we’ll be able to take a full honeymoon right now, but we are going to make sure we at least get a weekend away together RIGHT after the wedding. Some people say “just wait a while so you can have a full week,” but my thought process is that you can take a weeklong vacation whenever, and it is just a vacation. But only right after you get married will you have that super brand new marriage feel and be really honeymooney. I feel like if we waited to save up for a big one, the ‘newly wed’ness would be sort of minimalized. So I’ll at least take it in weekend form 🙂

13 days in Hawaii. CANNOT WAIT. I have a feeling we aren’t going to want to wait.

We might do a second honeymoon for 5 nights in Disney at the 6 month mark.

Our official honeymoon is 9 nights/10 days, but we’re both taking a full two weeks off after the wedding and will have three more nights once we get home before we have to go back to work.  I’ve been thinking of extending the honeymoon by booking a room somewhere closeby for the Friday and Saturday night, but we might be just as happy to spend the time at home.

@canuckandakiwi:  10 days, its one of the shortest holidays we have ever had together…..but also one of the most expensive!

We’ll probably take a couple nights somewhere like Half Moon Bay after the wedding as a ‘minimoon” and then 10 nights in Italy a month later Smile
