Well, we moved in together after about a week of dating.. haha, I know I know, it sounds horrible but if you can’t live with someone why waste time dating? I’d already lived with boyfriends before, and been engaged before, and knew what I wanted.
So yeah. We got engaged about 2.5 years of dating/living together.

We lived together for just over 2 years, and it will be over 4 years by the time we get married

we moved in together a week after we met, and were engaged a year exactly after we met.

So we kind of have a weird situation. We started dating less than two weeks into my first year at the school I transferred to and actually lived on the same hall (yes, we hallcested, oh the college crime). However, he had a nutjob for a roommate and I had a single, so we got into the habit of doing in my room what we would have done in our own rooms (work, hang out, sleep, etc.). So we were sort of ‘living together’ from almost day one, even though it was in a strange semi-communal setting. We got engaged a year and a half after we started dating and have just furnished our first apartment together. We will live together full-time in a non-dorm environment (thank god) starting this August.

We had been dating for just under 2 years when we moved in together (22 months) and were engaged right at 6 months after that. We had quite seriously already decided to get married before we moved in together.

We’ve been living together for 1 year 1 month. No engagement yet… but it should be soon!!

We moved in together after 1.5 years of dating, and we got engaged 3 months after moving in together. He always said he would need to live with someone before he was sure he was ready to get married, and he started talking about proposing within weeks of moving in.

We lived together a little over 3 months before the engagement. We were dating just over 3 years at that point.

We were officially dating for about 7 months before he unofficially moved in (most of his stuff was at my place, and he was rarely at his apartment), and we’d been dating for about a year before he gave up his place and officially moved in. He proposed about 8 months after that.
It was funny, though, because although we both agreed that we wouldn’t be together if we weren’t eventually thinking of marriage, there was no agreement or even talk of getting engaged when we moved in… We both just knew it was something we wanted to do before we’d even consider marrying anyone. I actually was TOTALLY shocked when he proposed… I had known for about a year that I would love to be his wife, but I wasn’t in a rush, and didn’t even realize he was thinking about it!

We were together for 16 months before we moved in together and 11 months later he proposed!

We won’t live together until after we’re married. My rule. He’ll have to earn my company, haha! 😛 I’m very much looking forward to it, though.

I was living with my Fiance shortly after we began dating. We lived together for 3 months before we got engaged. Then 1 month later we became pregnant, and we are due in 3 months, in September. We are having a long engagement though. 🙂 Everything happened somewhat fast for us, and our families get along really well. But we decided to have the long engagement to have our dream wedding. 🙂

We waited until 4 months after we were engaged
