MemberWe were together 2 1/2 years, but we both knew before we were even officially dating, which sounds crazy I guess. We were really close friends for four years before we started dating, and then one day I just realized I could marry him. He felt the same, and that was that! We waited a few years to get engaged until we were more established in our careers.
MemberWe met Jan 2007, started dating May 2007, broke up Nov 2008, saw each other at a wedding June 2009, saw each other again mid-late October 2009 (I had moved out of state for work, and was back for a conference), he told me he missed me, still loved me, and didn’t want to live without me! I went back over Halloween weekend- we talked and talked and pretty much worked everything out, and we had “the conversation”. We got engaged 6 weeks later! Only one of my coworkers said the “it’s about time” comment- she always said she “knew” we would end up together.
MemberIm not engaged yet but we have been together almost 11 months and have been friends for 8 years. From the timeline I have been given and what we have worked out im guessing in the next 6-8 months..
