Hi ladies, back in April i had a chemical pregnancy at 4 weeks 2 days 🙁
I started ttc in January of this year but on and off so it only took me really 3.5 months to conceive. I was so happy but then 6 days after finding out it all got taken away from me. 🙁
It has been 5 months since then and we have still had no luck in conceiving again 🙁
Has this happened to anyone else out there? And what can i do to try and conceive? How long did it take you ladies to conceive again after a chemical/misscarriage?
I was hoping to be pregnant on my birthday which is in 13 days but i highly doubt i will be, AF is due in 3 or so days and my temp went down this morning 🙁
Oh and im also taking pre-conceive folic acid and have been on and off since April.
Thank you ladies, much appreciated. xxx

I didn’t have this happen so I am not an authority, so take my advice with a grain of salt. However, my friend did have a CP and her doctor said it shouldn’t affect her conceiving in the future. He said she could start ttc again right away and she got pregnant the next cycle. Has your cycle been regular since then? If you’ve been trying for 9-10 months in total at this point, I would talk to your doctor about what else might be the cause. Might be something easy to fix like progesterone levels.

Hi Charlotte. I had an early m/c at 4w3d (last week) and I did a LOT of reading. A chemical isn’t affecting your fertility AT ALL. My doc gave me the go ahead for the next cycle after my first bleeding post m/c- she said there is NO relation between chemical and fertility. NONE. So please try not to worry too much.

@Mrs. Kiwi: I second this. As someone who also went through an early MC, my doctor said much the same thing. To put your mind at ease, it really shouldn’t matter too much. Best of luck and baby dust!
