Hmmm tough one. I’d probably smell it and if it smells overly fishy I’d toss it. I know fish obviously smell like fish lol… but if you smell it and get a yucky feeling, don’t eat it.

I’ve definitely had fish in my fridge for a few days and cooked it and it was absolutely fine.

Is it a uniform color still? If parts are discolored I’d also toss it.

If it’s bad, generally it won’t smell normal-fishy, it will smell putrid-fishy. Kind of like how ground beef has a little bit of a stink to it, but is nothing like spoiled beef.

I don’t chance things with fish.  Fish that has gone bad goes REALLY BAD!

I’ll leave the fish in the fridge for 2 days, and toss after that.
