I wear gloves at work and I’m clumsy as hell so I know I want a simple, low-profile ring, but they can be hard to search for! I wanna see pictures of your lowest-profile, least-snaggy rings! Bonus points for cathedral but I wanna see every stone that sits low! Thanks 🙂

I worked in healthcare until recently and had the same concerns! I have had zero issues with my ring/setting. Duh, edited to add pic 😜

Cathedral is the opposite of what you’re looking for! It means particularly high set.

I just mean something with the sides coming together near the top of the stone as a little bit of protection, so it’s not just the stone and prongs up way higher than the band. Ugh, finding a picture comparing what I mean is tough so I’ll use ascii:
/O\ versus _O_ , where the stone is the O protected by the band or above the band by itself. If that helps? 😛
Oh, I’m so slow. hopefulfuturemrs has exactly what I mean! (beautiful!)

You may want to look at bezel settings. There are a few threads on here with photos. I think they’re very unique and beautiful

Thank you. Yes, I know bezels are really the best way to go for what I need, but I still haven’t quite warmed up to them — I guess I just haven’t seen the right one for me. I’ll definitely be checking out more threads though, thanks 🙂

I haven’t had any problems snagging mine and it’s pretty low profile as its flat on top.

Mine is relatively low profile…no snags, no bumps, I love it 🙂

This was my first setting. It was extremely stable and the side ‘struts’ gave it tons of support and absolutely helped it from spinning

I absolutely love how low mine is. It doesn’t snag or get in my way ever.

How low you can go depends on what size your stone is. But as some already pointed out, bezels can be the way to go. Bypass ension settings are usually also low, but from what I have heard they are often not very safe. Bezels are great with that on the other hand.

I wear gloves too. This is my profile

I have a bezel with halo. I wanted a very low setting, but also wanted my wedding band to sit flush. I had both rings custom made.

Ooh! I haven’t seen these pictures before and they’re not helping my serious obsession with your ring.
