We still haven’t sent out invites so I don’t even know what to expect. Some friends (who’ve done DW) have told me that you never know what kind of turnout you’re going to get with Destination Wedding because some people promise they’ll come in the beginning (and don’t) and others surprise you at the last minute.
How many people are attending your Destination Wedding (or an estimate)?
How many people did you invite?

We’re getting married in Vegas. 47 people invited 32 people coming. 4 people couldn’t come because of pregnancy/babies.
Good luck 🙂

We invited 65 and got 16 ppl RSVP yes. The other 49 ppl didn’t even bother to send back RSVP or reply.

72 invited, 51 RSVP’d yes, and 48 actually showed up for a turnout of 67%, which was pretty much what we expected.
No one had to fly, but guests had to drive at least 5 hours one-way and stay at least 1 night (most stayed 2 nights). Because it was in a touristy town, most guests turned it into their own mini-vacations and found fun things to do.

We invited 133 people (we have large families) and 51 are coming. Before we sent out invites, we had already told people about it and kept track of who we thought were most likely to attend. We estimated 50 people and have 51 coming so that was pretty helpful. I think it also depends on where the wedding is and if the people invited enjoy traveling.
