We had 2 for 85 people, there was hardly a wait for a drink!

I think the rule of thumb is something like 1 for every 75 guests? Although that seems risky to me, personally, I’d cut the ratio a bit. Or have a strategy for preventing a long wait in that first rush to the bar (like putting pitchers or bottles out on the tables).

We had about 175 people and 2 bartenders, but the drinks were all non-alcoholic, so I’m not sure if that makes a difference
