happytobemrsg:  JLFinch:  I know right! It’s like a marathon, which is precisely why we wont be trying it until around September. But I do think the no BD from days CD1-10 will add a lot of build up for the main event.

On the bright side, the doula said most couples conceived within the 1st few months of trying this method–so it might just be worth a try.

We BD daily from O-4 all the way to 1DPO and were super lucky with our BFP.

I had really long, irregular cycles so we BD EOD from about CD10-confirmed O. The month I got pregnant I confirmed O through temps on CD25. Needless to say, I was happy to get my BFP so we could STOP BD!!!!

BreezyBride24:  that’s pretty much how I got my BFP except we BD CD11-25 EOD because I O’d late. I think I would have died from exhaustion doing it every day for 14 days!

I got a BFP this cycle with O-4, O-3, O-1. The BFP from DS’s conception cycle we got with O-5, O-4, O-2, O-1, O. The cycle I miscarried we got a BFP with O-5, O-3, O-2, O-1, O. It’s hard (and exhausting) trying to get good timing with irregular and longer cycles. My advice to you is if you get an obvious shift in CM when you enter your fertile window, suspend any and all sexual activity until you see that shift, then try for ED (with 24hrs between each BD session to build count – so, every morning, OR every night). If you’re not BD-ing before then it’s easier to see the shift in CM too since you’re not having to factor in the possibility that you’re mistaking leftover semen for CM.

We didn’t use OPKs or charting or anything but we did BD every day for around a week during my fertile window. It worked!

I have an irregular cycle. My periods range from 28-40 days.

We BD every other day – the day after my period ended. I never got a positive OPK last cycle.

I am 6w1d today. If I hadn’t gotten pregnant this cycle they would have started me on clomid the next month.

Ohhavok:  usually between CD26 and CD28 then I only have a 9 day Lp.  Doctor said I was low in a hormone so it was like a bike going up a steep hill I struggle to get up the hill and then when I do get to the top I fall off the cliff so to speak

Darling Husband and I BD every day for 12 days straight the month we conceived #2. I want sure when I was going to O due to a whacky cycle the one before we planned to TTC. So, basically as soon as I thought there was a chance I might be fertile, we started. I did try and monitor CM for the first time to help. We stopped a few days after I had O pains and CM tapered off.
