AOriver:  Well hey there, looks like you tried the method and it’s a winner–though I can only imagine how exhausting it was.

JLFinch:  You’re right–it’s worth a try for at elast 1 month…2 or 3 mothns back to back might be a little much though. I forgot to add, you need to try lots of different positions during those 10 days (to help the little swimmers go to where they need to be).

Ohhavok:  Tell me about it! But what the hey–I figure we can do anything for 10 days. Right!?!

BreezyBride24:  well we did EOD not every day. I don’t think I’d last doing it every day!

AOriver:  I’d say that’s close enough! That’s probably what we’d end up doing after day 3 anyways

The cycle we got our BFP we got down to business on CD 10, 13, 16, 18. It was such a busy time for work for both of us that we didn’t do our normal every other day routine and I was sure we wouldn’t get our BFP that month. I guess the rest days in between were just what we needed though! The prior cycle we did it exactly every other day to no avail.

There is no way we could BD every day… Darling Husband would get tired. *lol*

This last cycle, which I did get a BPF, I think O’d a day earlier than what FF put me at (based on temps after O). But, based on FF’s information our schedule was:

CD 6, 8, 10, 11 (O-3) and 14 (O).

Something worked!

BreezyBride24:  heck yeah!! I even though to myself after I posted that comment about it being exhausting, that even so, I would 100% do it if it meant a bfp!

The month we got our BFP, we only BD’d one time during the fertile window (O-2 I think). It was one of those, shoot, I got a positive OPK, better squeeze it in before it’s too late (DH was out of town leading up to it). I’m at 26 weeks now.

I had my first cycle of TTC and I didn’t temp or OPK yet (probably next cycle) so I realized that my fertile window was just estimated by Glow APP based on cycle day. So I BD’d like 6 times around the green window, trying to keep BD’ing every night in case I O’d later than the app guessed. But last night we got tired and it didn’t happen so this morning I woke him early for BD. I think that means if my O was yesterday I’d have a chance. Idk, sometimes this TTC stuff feels like rocket science!

We got pregnant on cycle 5. We BD’d on cycle days 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14. We got our BFP on CD 26.

We did it every day starting at about cycle day 7, until fertility friend confirmed ovulation with 3 days of high temps.  So, it usually ended up being about 12 days.  I am 31, but my husband is only 26, so he was totally up for it.  It worked twice for us, on the first month each time.  (First pregnancy was a miscarriage, currently pregnant now at 22 weeks.)

We conceived my first and second pregnancies (second was an MC) doing EOD for about two weeks after AF, we hit o-5, o-3, o-1, o+1. This pregnancy (I’m 14w3d) was conceived with EOD up until day of positive OPK, then ED until o+1 (so o-3, o-1, o, o+1). This could be completely inaccurate, but I actually read an article that said it’s important to BD relatively consistently throughout the cycle so the female’s body is “used to” the sperm and doesn’t fight it as hard. This could be complete BS as I didn’t read any of the research behind the article. My husband sent it to me, and for all I know it could have been his creative way of getting more.

with my daughter I didn’t track anything and we just did EOD and got lucky the 2nd cycle! it’s taking a little longer this time, but it’s been harder for us to stick to that schedule!
