I’m having three bridesmaids including the Maid of Honor. I only wanted people I’m really close to up there with me and since I only have a few close girlfriends, those are the ones I selected. 🙂

I just an an Maid/Matron of Honor, and it was perfect! No drama and stress, and the rest of my friends got to wear whatever they wanted to my wedding. 😉

I didn’t vote because there was no option for zero. That’s right. Zero. Not even a Maid/Matron of Honor. But it is so worth it and avoiding all the drama I read about here. My good friends are still volunteering themselves to help out with anything I may need help with and they saved money by not having to throw parties, buy dresses or get their hair/makeup done professionally. I didn’t want a bachelorette party or a wedding shower anyway.

You left off a choice for those going without a bridal party.

We’re having  a small, cocktail party style wedding, so we are each having one attendant.

I’ve been a bridesmaid many, many times, and I think the fewer the better, to be honest. I was once one of 9 bridesmaids, and it was a total zoo.

I have 9 bridesmaids … yup haha. Well, seven bridesmaids and two bridesmen (had to have my best guy friends on my side!).

Deciding the number was a huge struggle because I really didn’t want so many, but the problem was my fiance and I have the same group of friends, are close with all our siblings, AND we’re closing with our siblings-in-law. So it really came to we’d rather have a huge group instead of leaving anyone out and having feelings hurt – like, couldn’t have one without the other.

So 9 bridesmaids, 9 groomsmen, and 4 ushers. Will be insane but hope it’s worth it!

I’ve got four, including my Maid/Matron of Honor. I don’t have any other female friends who have been with me as much as those girls, and there’s no one that I left off or forgot by keeping it small.

Personally, I think sometimes bridal parties with a lot of people look busy. I’m really not a fan of seeing 20 people stuffed up there, not counting the bride and groom and officant! But to each their own!

I voted for 6 (4 BMs and 2 MOHs) but if I could have went back and picked them all over again, I would have probably done 3 or 4. You have to put into consideration how many bouquets you have to get, the gifts, the drama… ugh! The more BMs, the more stress and the more money.
