I was just wondering I’m planning in August and I love intimate Bridal Parties and right now I just have a Maid/Matron of Honor and one bridesmaid. Recently, I’ve begun to regret my decision of having so few for a wedding of 100+ people attending. Do you think what I have now is too few, or okay? I’m so confused….

I don’t think it’s too few, I had 6 BMs and wish I had less. The more people you have, the harder it is to coordinate things. Usually your first instinct is the right one, but with the amount of time we take to plan we are often left with too much time to second guess ourselves.

It’s totally okay! It’s entirely up to you on something like that. My stepmom had like 10 plus two junior bridesmaids for a wedding of maybe 200 (it was nuts), my mom’s friend’s daughter had just 1 for a wedding of maybe 75-100. Whatever feels right to you is what matters. I guarantee you no one’s gonna be sitting out there thinking how weird you are to have only 2. “Does she not have any friends?” Not a worry! Promise

Being on the married side, it’s nice to get opinions from others have they have dealt with the whole Bridesmaid or Best Man situation. I wonder if there are others like me who wish they had less than they actually did? If so, I think many of them would think the number of BMs you have is great!

I have 2, or 3 if you count my male attendant, and my fiance has 2 groomsmen. We’re also having a 100+ wedding, and I think it’s just perfect. We have our very closest friends joining us at the altar, and that’s all I feel we need.
