I have 7 and I think it’s a lot too.  But I feel blessed to have them all there.

I started out with 3 bridesmaids and a Maid/Matron of Honor, but two of my girls had to drop out.  I now have 1 Bridesmaid or Best Man and my Maid/Matron of Honor.  I prefer small, so I am okay with this!

I have 8 including the Maid/Matron of Honor and a Jr Maid.  My sister is the Maid/Matron of Honor, then there are 2 cousins, and the other 5 are close friends.  My Fiance has 6 groomsmen, including the best man.  It’s a big wedding party, but I couldn’t imagine not having those ladies up there with me!

0! BMs are too much work if you ask me – dresses, shoes, parties, gifts.. I’m skipping it altogether. 🙂

I had 3 members of my side of the bridal party – 1 girl and 2 boys.  But my guys weren’t bridesmaids, so I’m going to leave myself off the poll!

Just a Maid/Matron of Honor…. less drama = happy bride!! (plus she gets to wear whatever she wants!)

It’s just me and my Matron of Honor.  I don’t have many close friends, that’s just how I roll 🙂

I’m not having any this time, but at my first (big) wedding, I had seven (well, six + maid of honor).  It really didn’t seem like a lot at the time.

I have five but my Fiance has 9 groomsmen – are these women important in your life and people you will know for a long time? Then go for it!

Maid/Matron of Honor (BFF since 12 years old), 4 Bridesmaid or Best Man (FSIL, FSILs daughter, 2 cousins), 1 JBM (my daughter), 1 Flower Girl (MOH daughter). They are all family, I’m so excited!

I have 9, and that is with, only picking the closest, best friends ! I had to make a rule that no female, family members could be part of the bridal party! I have 3 sister-in-laws and 4 nieces I am really close to that could be junior bridesmaids, but the age differences would be huge.. my friends are 24-26, sister in laws are 40-45, and nieces…9-15.

I played basketball and volleyball all through out schooling, so, I had to pick the closest ones I was friends with.. which was hard.. I’m still friends with all 28 of them!! And, the only girl thats a Bridesmaid or Best Man that didn’t play sports with me I have been best friends with since I wast in 1st grade, literally! All of my bridal party I have been extremely close friends with for 14+ years. My Fiance had the same problem, and we both came out with the number 9 (and 3 of which are my brothers)f.. so we figured it was a sign to have 9.
