I have 8 BMs, 8 Groomsmen and a flowergirl.  It’s a lot.  But it’s been okay so far, except for getting the dresses ordered ;op

SoontoBe…and that’s not them! I’ve been searching the net too but I can’t remember her married name now. It had to be 10 years ago and was either at Tavern on the Green or Windows on the World,I think. I’d love to find it,tho!

I have 4 total. And yes, I have had to work! My Maid/Matron of Honor has caused a cankersore on my lip within the last week! They don’t want to order their dresses yet, even though they are on sale right now, and one of them made some snarky remarks about us getting engaged. Thanks girls! 🙂

I have just one jr. bridesmaid (my sister)..my brother will stand on my side too, and FI’s brother on his side. Pretty small, but I wanted to make sure I’d remember who was standing with us 20-30 years down the road. Or at least that’s my excuse for not having many friends, lol.

I have 6 girls, 6 boys 2 flower girls and a ring bearer.  I actually feel a bit silly having that many but that’s how it ended up.  I’m actually planning on uninvited one Bridesmaid or Best Man who has flaked out on our friendship in general (I know – poor ettiquette, but anymore it’s just not a friendship I will miss anyway AND I think it’ll be a relief for her also)

If I had it to do over again, I would have had just my sister & his brother, and called it a day.  I love my friends and am excited to have them involved (although yes, the only girls who have ordered their dresses so far are the 2 that were with me when I picked them out and ordered them right then and there), but I feel like it would have made things much simpler.  Oh well – the more the merrier, right?

I have 3 total. Fiance has asked his best man, and plans on asking 2 more Groomsmen. We’re going dress shopping for the first time this weekend. I think it’s definitely more managebale the smaller the wedding party, and I wouldn’t really want any more than 3.

I have 4 total. I, too, have found that as I get older I have lost touch with a lot of my friends and I didn’t want to have people in my party that I wasn’t really close to. So I have my best friend as my Maid/Matron of Honor and my SIL as one of my Bridesmaid or Best Man and two of my other close friends as the other BM’s. I also have 2 flowergirls. I haven’t really had any trouble with any of them. My SIL has been a big help with lots of things and I haven’t really asked any of the other girls for much help. My Maid/Matron of Honor is getting married a few months after me and she’s busy with her own planning and such but I haven’t had problems with her either.

we have 10 bm and 10 gm, 1 flower girl and a ring bearer!  so 22!  haha.  5 sounds like a fabulous number but there was no way for me to work that out!  still very excited though and everyone seems genuinely happy to be a part of it so i dont think it will be hard to make work!  😉

maybe i will respond to this post again as we approach october, haha.

Zero.  🙂  My husband and I have 6 sisters between us, and we didn’t want anyone to be left out.  So we just didn’t have a bridal party at all!  My oldest sister was disappointed we didn’t even have my nephew as a ring bearer, but I MUCH preferred having no bridal party to having all those (dramatic) sisters.

I’m having 1 Maid/Matron of Honor, 7 Bridesmaid or Best Man, 1 Best Man, 7 Groomsmen, 2 flower girls, 1 ring bearer. I know, it’s big… and I actually only wanted like 4 each but they’re each a person that I can’t imagine not having next to me… like Fiance says, what’s the difference, so we have to buy a couple exta gifts. My cousin actually had 13 girls, 13 guys, 3 flower girls, and 3 ring bearers.

We have 6 BMs and 6 GMs.  I actually wanted LESS, but Fiance wanted 6 Groomsmen and HE was the one who insisted our wedding party be even!!
