When you start thinking of them as food–it’s too many. 🙂

Depends on your preferences of course! I think more than 3-4 and it’s starting to get crowded up there but if you have that many close friends then who cares what anyone thinks!

I think it depends on how many people are at your wedding, partly. I think when people have 7-9+ it’s usually too many, 3-5 is usually ideal, but I think it more importantly depends on who your friends are- if you honestly have 10 close beloved friends who you want to stand up with you, then by all means go for it.

I think I’m having 2 or 3, but we have a real small wedding.

I’m having 2 BMs, no Maid/Matron of Honor.  They’re both my sisters and I don’t want to designate one over the other.  Fiance is having a Best Man (brother) and 1 Groomsman (cousin) though.  We have a Flower Girl too!

I think 6 is the limit. After that it starts looking like a pageant.

I think it depends how much drama you can handle. More bridesmaids, more drama!

i am having 5 bridesmaids plus my maid of honor. And my fiance has picked an equal amount of groomsmen plus his best man. I think the number of people in your bridal party depends on how big your wedding is going to be. If we were having a small wedding, i would think it was too much.

Anything over 5 for me, personally feels like too much and gets a little crowded. I had 3 and Darling Husband had 3. We were orginally both having 4 but that’s neither here nor there.

Lol!  I got your joke and it made me laugh.

OP, I think 6 is plenty.  I think 5 is a lot.

I have 10 bridesmaids and 1 maid of honor. All of them are my cousins and siblings, so I couldn’t not include some of them just to keep the number down (I grew up with all of them). I’m super happy that they will all be standing up with me.

I have 5 Bridesmaid or Best Man, 2 jr Bridesmaid or Best Man, & 1 Maid/Matron of Honor. Even I think it’s a little much but didn’t want to exclude anyone.
