valentinabarcelona :  What size is your finger? I have just a bit more same finger coverage as you with a 1.16 carat, so I would say based on that about a carat, but you may have smaller/larger hands.

The post didn’t load the text before so I didn’t see you put your size! I have a different stone shape, and I’m not a diamond expert. I think your ring looks lovely!

It’s definitely 1.5. I’m a 5.75 and have tried on a zillion rings. Too big to be 1 and not enough finger coverage for 2. It’s beautiful!

It looks like a little over 1, but I also think it’s proportional to your hand. I wouldn’t go bigger.

    i would’ve voted for a size between 1.25 and 1, but there wasn’t so i went with 1

to be honest, i didn’t read your finger size–if I had I’d have gone with 1.25

valentinabarcelona :  I actually said it looked like 1.5! I don’t think it looks small; I think people just typically think 1ct is much larger than it actually is.

I think it’s around a 1.5… just based on finger coverage

My finger is a 5 and diamond is 2.31… so I guessed 1.5 but would have guessed 1.75 if were an option.

What is the measurement across? Try to get digital calipers or have it measured maybe to get you closer in estimating size…, or if you have a tiny scale that measures carats?

I voted for 1.5… mine is a 1.1 on a 4.75 finger, and yours seemed to cover a bit more finger than mine but comparable with the finger size difference.

I voted 1.5 because mine is 1.25 (and my finger is close in size) and yours looks a bit larger than mine. How is the cut grade on your diamond? A super-ideal cut diamond will definitely appear larger than a “good” cut because the better the cut, the better it reflects light, which gives it a larger appearance.
