We are having a little debate at the moment over how many readings we should have in our church ceremony. Is 3 reading to many for a 35min service?
How many did you have/are having?
Thank you!

We’re still planning our ceremony, but I don’t think 3 sounds like too much!! 🙂
We didn’t have any but 3 doesn’t sound too bad as long as they’re not super lengthy.
Our officiant recommended no more than two. She said it gets too repetitive for the guests.
Our officiant also recommended that we have no more than two readings. Our ceremony was 25 mins long and we included one reading by a friend.
We’re having three or four, but our ceremony is probably going to be 45-60 minutes.
We had 2 readings. Probably took less than 5-7 minutes. I say it’s your wedding so personalize it how ever you wish!
We’re having three readings but they’re also all quite short so I would say that it would depend on the length of the readings. We’re aiming for your ceremony to be between 30-40 minutes long.
