So i know the number of chairs can vary between each garden/outdoor wedding, depending on number of guests etc, but i was wondering if anyone has any opinions on how many chairs are enough to create an aisle or what else would you use to create the atmosphere of a wedding. I hope this makes sense!
We will be having a 7mtr white carpet, bordered by purple petals, but what else could you use besides a lot of chairs?
Ive heard that at some weddings people have chairs but most of them dont get used, and we want people to use them if they are there…

I don’t quite understand what you are asking. We had 50 people, but 6 of us weren’t sitting down. But I still rented 50 chairs and did 5 on each side of the aisle and had 5 rows.
I didn’t have any other decorations on the chairs or an aisle runner. Please keep in mind I’ve heard people have had problems with aisle runner (your white carpet) catching on their train.

You need enough for chairs for every person that will be seated, which means all the guests.
At our wedding we sat down and the bridal party sat down as well, so everyone needed a seat. Luckily ours was indoors and the chapel had pews.

I think I kind of know what you’re asking because when I told my wedding planner we were expecting around 120 people she was like “ok, so we’ll only need 60 chairs then” and I was like whattttt?! I’m still confused on that but I haven’t been to my venue in person yet so I’m hoping to get that all cleared up when I go for a visit in March!
