I’m due with my second in a couple of weeks, and there was no question we’d have at least two. We haven’t ruled out a third. I think in an ideal world with unlimited resources we’d both want three, but that’s not the reality. Hopefully we’ll know one way or another after this one arrives!

2-3. I grew up as 1 of 3 and loved it. My H prefers 2 as he is 1 of 2 so we will see.

Zero of my own biologically. I would consider fostering and/or adopting in the future!

I have 3, and we are done. I was an only child and never really envisioned how many kids I would have because it was a weird concept to me- having multiple kids. But here I am!

3 to 5 – but we don’t have any yet so a lot of room in that “ideal” for change once we see how the first couple go haha

We have three, contemplated a fourth but are now 98% sure that we’re done.

But my husband will only agree to two. So once he dies i’ll get the other 18.

slomotion :

I always say that if we won the lottery, I’d want like 5-6. Fiance thinks I’m nuts. We have dark senses of humor, and since he’s 10 years older than I am, likes to joke about how he’s going to die any day now. I tell him we have to have enough kids that I end up with one dork who lives in the basement so that I won’t be alone.

devoutwoman :  originally wanted 3 or 4, but will likely stop at 2 due to age and finances and just being tired.

if I could afford it (and have the sperm doner organsed by then) I would have started earlier & had as many as I could tbh thinking 6-8.

But it’s just not realistic with $$ and space.

I think we will aim for 2 – I will never have ODD numbered children I hated being the oldest of 3.

but if life & circumstances change I would like to add on more always ending up with an even number, i’m hoping for twins!!
