It doesn’t hurt to be overly prepared. I think we just brought a box of 24. What we didn’t use we brought home. Make sure you have some in your carry on in case your luggage gets lost!

We didn’t have THAT much sex on our honeymoon but we’d been living together for 2 years already. If it’s your first time you’ll probably be doing it a lot more!

I would just invest in a bunch!  What you don’t use on the cruise, you can bring home to use ;]

Condoms are not comfortable so you may want to rethink your long term birth control plan. If it’s your first times I would bring 5 per day. Then there is no worry if one breaks or goes flying across the room when you’re trying to put them on the first few times. The last thing you want is to have to stress about rationing condoms on your honeymoon.

misshappygolucky:  that is nice you chose to wait.  I would say bring a couple of boxes… Being your first time your new hubby may be keen to go like rabbits ! I am sure you can buy more where you are going xx

Well, the good thing is that condoms are small, take up very little space and don’t expire (at least not for a long time). So just overpack and don’t worry about it. I’d take 30 or so. I can’t imagine you’d go through that many, but you just bring the extras home. Also, have you talked to your fiance about this? He may already be planning to bring them.

misshappygolucky:  I’m not sure, I guess the biggest box you could find, just to be safe? Since it’s your fertile window, you should use spermicide or another backup method, too. Double up!

Unless you’ve got something against it, it would probably be best if you could use something besides condoms for the long term – the pill, IUD, NuvaRing, etc.

The first time usually hurts depending on how long you go and some other factors. it might also hurt the next day etc. So bring lots of condoms but don’t feel pressure to use them all especially in the  first couple of days. If after the first night you are in pain, take a night off… Trust me, the second time will start to feel good but only if you are all healed up! Make sure you listen to your body so by the end of the honeymoon, you can have lots and lots of wonderful sex instead of just the painful stuff the whole time. And bring lube. Do not rely on lubricated condoms to be enough for your first time! Have fun lol

Just buy a big box. *shrugs*

And if it’s your first time, bring lube, too.

ALSO Make sure you aren’t allergic to anything (like latex).

Good luck and have fun! 🙂

misshappygolucky:  Make sure to bring lots and lots of lube (dont be surprised if it takes you a few days before you can do the deed). And bring a box of non-latex condoms. You dont want to discover that you are allergic to latex and not have any back up!

misshappygolucky:  well, i couldn’t tell you because I ended up getting poison ivy half way through my honeymoon!!!!!!!

Since this is your first time, I would just bring a mega box.
