First cycle off BC, got pregnant right after the withdrawal bleed. Currently 18w5d. Totally expected it to take longer so we feel very fortunate.

Had a CP on cycle 2, then just got my BFP yesterday on cycle 3 again! So basically got pregnant after 2 cycles of TTC but it didn’t stick with that one!

danakxox :  If you end up needing treatment, a good doctor will have no problem seeing you after you’ve been trying around a year, regardless of your marital status. You probably don’t want to be seeing a doctor who cares about that anyway, since it’s none of their business. I was lucky enough to find my issues before we even started TTC since I learned to chart my cycle for marriage prep and noticed some abnormalities. My doctor was more than willing to check them out even though I wasn’t married or TTC, since reproductive health is important regardless of whether you want a baby. If you decide to start charting and find that things don’t look right, you should 100% find a doctor that listens to you regardless of how long you’ve been trying or your marital status. FX that all goes well and you end up pregnant before you ever need to see a doctor!

danakxox :  we’re TTC before getting married too.  Both previously divorced and we’re older (35 and 44), so not in a huge rush to marry but definitely want to get on the baby train asap.  Don’t worry about the doctors – I just confidently call him “my partner” and DARE someone to give me grief about it!  I can’t imagine a doctor would feel the need to do that unless you live in the Deep South or something.  I’m sure you have your reasons, just trust them.  Also remember that if you’re 35+ or have any known fertility issues, you should be able to see someone after 6 months of good timing with no luck.

    First cycle for us 🙂

I had my IUD removed on the 27th of September and got my BFP on the 20th of October! 23 days later!!

We’re both 26 (though will both will be 27 by end of the year), fit and healthy with no family history of fertility problems and I’ve always had a perfect 28-day cycle so there was no reason we wouldn’t conceive fast.

With DS, technically the 2nd cycle but at that point I didn’t realize I O’d late, so we didn’t actually hit our FW the first month.

With #2, we got pregnant first cycle, but miscarried. I am 5DPO now and feeling very similar to last time, so hopeful.

16 months/12 cycles. Each of those was perfectly timed and confirmed ovulation because I’d been charting for years. We were diagnosed with unexplained infertility and conceived on our 5th Clomid cycle, but first cycle with a trigger shot and IUI. She’s now 9 months old and we’ve been “trying” again since she was 6 months old… “trying” in quotes because I’m taking OPKs and not using protection but haven’t had a PP period yet. We can’t start back with infertility treatment until my period returns.

Got off birth control 4 yrs ago. My husband has been deployed several times so we have been ttc for about 20 cycles. Doctors cannot seem to find anything wrong with me or my husband and since we’re both young and l was able to conceive before (in cycle 1 with ex) we will not be able to get further treatment untill next yr.
