56 Invited

53 Came

(We did send out some other invites to overseas family but we already knew who was coming from overseas (included in the 56) – it was more of a “we wish you could come” invite!)

I would say about 60% will show up. I’m planning on giving my caterer 5 less for my number count because there are always those people who RSVP and don’t show up.

We invited about 115, 93 RSVPd yes and 93 came.  Our capacity was 102 but we really wanted closer to 90.

The average statistic says 20% I Invited 124 and have 100 coming. So pretty on target for the averages. About 25% of our guest list were OOT’s and 50% of them are attending. You however are having a summer wedding and we’re really close to the holidays so less people I would assume were willing to travel for us. Hope that helps!

I would think this really depends on your invite list and whether people have to travel or most of them live near by.  We are inviting around 200 and hoping only 150 show up, but we are also sending out save the dates so people will have 6 months to keep us in mind when making their summer plans.

@xshellx2003:that sounds like a dangerous bet! unless you know your guest list very, very well, counting on 5 yes rsvp’s to not show up is high.

We invited 174, had yes RSVPs for 152, and had 3 no-shows. HOWEVER, we also had 3 unexpected “dates” show up, so it worked out perfectly 😉

this is super helpful you all! seems like most of you avergaged between a 10-20% decline rate, which I have kind of counted on.
