Just chiming in to say that women often have no symptoms at all so don’t get too hung up. I had absolutely no pregnancy symptoms until I woke up one morning with a hard lump in my lower belly. Turns out I was 14 weeks with twins and didn’t notice a thing. To this day (currently 32 weeks), my only “symptom” is weight gain.

I’ll tell you a little about my experience. Unfortunately it took us a while to conceive. 14 cycles to be exact. After it hadn’t happened within 6 months I went to my doctor and she noticed I had subclinical hypothyroidism, which usually isn’t an issue unless you are TTC. I likely also had a chemical pregnancy at one point (around cycle 7). It took a few months for my TSH levels to regulate, and I was fairly regular, using OPKs and temping. Every month I would symptom spot and it would drive me crazy.
It’s exciting that you are starting your TTC journey, but be aware of your cycle normally prior to TTC. I found out I was pregnant at 10DPO, and I had no real symptoms, except for going to urinate more frequently, however now I have the full gambit at almost 8 weeks, nausea, vomitting, sore breasts, and exhaustion.
Also implantation spotting is extremely rare, this little tid bit of information I didn’t know so I would get excited every month and then be let down. Hopefully your TTC journey won’t be as long as my own, but listen to your body, just don’t overthink things! And join the POAS boards they are a great support system if you aren’t on them already.

Confused by this. Did you not notice any missed periods? kgr9 :

I was super nauseous starting at 8 days DPO with this pregnancy. I decided to test at 11 DPO when it still hadn’t gone away but by that point I was certain I was pregnant! I don’t get nauseous otherwise. Sore boobs is one symptom I get for both pregnancy and PMS although not this go around which I think may be because I’m still nursing. Best of luck to you, I hope you get your BFP soon!

Sore boobs was/were always my first symptom. Wait a few days and POAS. Crossing my fingers for you!

Google told me that basically you don’t experience symptoms before your missed period.
I would like like to call bullshit on that. At maybe 4-5 DPO, before implantation even happened, all of my food tasted like metal. This lasted until like 16 weeks. I also got heartburn immediately, which I never had before. The dreams got very vivid almost immediately too. And like 3 days before I tested positive, there was a day I was just pissed at everything, for no reason.

In retrospect, I was more tired than usual and the boobs were sorer than usual starting around the 2 week mark, but I didn’t think to take a test until I was over 7 weeks along I thought it was just my body regulating after coming off BCP. I didn’t have any morning sickness or other symptoms.

It was normal for me to go months without periods on the birth control I was on so I thought nothing of it. We were not trying.

I have two kids. With my first, my boobs KILLED at 8 DPO, I knew immediately… tested and got a BFP. I had zero symptoms with my second.

I know they say you can’t have symptoms in the TWW, but I literally knew something was up as early as 4DPO because I was getting heartburn and frequent urination. 6 days later got a positive test.

I got my BFP at 10 DPO and that was literally the day my boobs were so sore (I thought it was chest pain at first) and I threw up the first time.

We tried for a year and a month. I got two BFPs during that time.
The first (which only lasted to 16dpo) I had crazy strong signs starting 8dpo. I was actually traveling and couldn’t find a test but everyone on the poas board felt sure, including me. On 10dpo I tested and it was very dark for 10dpo. (Possible I miscalculated o and was a day or two further along?)
The second I had no symptoms at all. I seriously didn’t think I was pregnant, I tested cus a good friend of mine got her bfp that morning and I was jelly lol. Super squinter at 10dpo! No symptoms until the nausea hit at like 15/16dpo.
