6 stores and still don’t have the dress…

5 or 6, I think? I went back to one of them a second time, and that’s when I found my dress.

2! One in a big city and one right in my hometown which I never expected to find a dress from!

Hey, I’ll start by saying you’re planning on having this experience once so go to as many shoos and try on as many as you can. I went to 3 shops, i could have not bothered with the first two but went to them as they were in my hometown. I tried on approximately 16 dresses and i’m pleased I did as it stopped me having any dress doubts after making the final decision as I had tried on all the shapes and styles.

Three, I bought my dress from the second one. Could’ve skipped DBs and a consignment store that had nothing I was looking for. I wish I’d known about this beautiful boutique that’s right around the corner but I only learned about it after I’d bought my dress. They carry my favorites too!
… and then I bought a second dress online that just sits there sadly. I’ve relisted it for sale but still consider the option of actually wearing both dress 1 and dress 2 at my wedding.

Four stores, about 25 dresses. I found my dress about halfway through my search and every dress I tried on after confirmed that it was the one for me. Good luck!

Made 6 appointments, found my dress at 2nd

12. I went to 12. I found my dress at store 3, which was actually the first real store as the first two were consignment bridal stores. But I felt i needed to see and try more. Since at the 3rd store i just hapened to walk in didn’t have an appointment and tried on 2 dresses. So after going to a few more to see what else was available, i knew i found my dress when i couldn’t not get it out of my head. I tried on others that were contenders, but ever time my head went back, so that was it.

I went to 6 stores, and tried on between 3-6 dresses at each store. I liked plenty of dresses, but couldn’t commit to any of them. And finally, I found the “one” and I knew why I hadn’t been able to say yes to any of the others! I didn’t have a “bridal moment” where I cried or had chills, etc. I just felt beautiful and comfortable, and knew Fiance would love it as well! 🙂

I had appointments at 7, I went to 3, and I found the ONE in the only store I didn’t have an appointment in!
I went to appointment 3 and confirmed that the dress in the walk-in store was IT. I drove straight back over there and ordered it and cancelled the rest of the appointments, including Klienfelds in Toronto!
