Probably around 25 or 30. Some of them were instant no-s, before they were even zipped up. I also wasn’t one of those people who had “a moment” about my dress. I had to come back to it and really think about it before deciding. In hindsight, I kind of wish I had tried on more, but I think that’s just because I’m very much “the grass is always greener” type of person, and it’s possible I would have found something I cried over. But maybe not. I’m not much of a crier, lol.

I tried on 25-30 too and have pics of them all, good and bad!

I probably tried on about 20, but that was over two different shopping trips.  In round one I went to DB and another shop and tried on probably 15 dresses and then bought my first dress online.  And then five months later I tried on five or so more at DB again and bought the dress I wore.

I tried on 75. I purchased number 70. It was a lengthy search for the “one”, but well worth it!

I only tried four (I’m VERY picky!) And of those, I bought two. Now I am trying to sell the one I don’t want.

I only tried on 5. My gown ended up being #4. There was an Allure gown that I loved, but when I tried it on, it didn’t give me the bridal feeling that I was looking for. The one I picked is a Justin Alexander and when I tried it on, I couldn’t stop looking at myself in the mirror. I didn’t recognize her. She was beautiful, so I hope that is the look I have on my wedding day. I don’t really think of myself that way, so we shall see.

Probably about 30-40… you start to see patterns in styles and realize more of what you like or don’t like – so, it does get easier in some aspects… and then harder in others (deciding/compromising/giving up)…..

I dont know the exact number but I would guess I tried on about 15-20 dresses until I found mine.  And then I still tried on a couple more to be sure 🙂

40+ in 4 stores in 2 days. Hellz yea for marathon dress trying on 🙂 My mom was only here for a weekend and I REALLY wanted to find my dress so we did it up. I aimed to try on at least 10 at every store and we did 4 stores. I found my dress at the last store and it was the second to last dress I tried on. There was one other one that was really pretty but I decided ultimately wasn’t as flattering. I tried each on a few times to be sure, and then it was it!

I tried about 40, and the one I ended up buying was number 8 or so. I still had to work my way around all the other gowns ‘just to make sure’. Then I spent 3 months agonising whether I made the right choice anyway, but resisted the temptation to try on more dresses. Then my dress came in and I fell in love all over again.
