I had my mom and Future Mother-In-Law fly up to go dress shopping with me and we went to three salons in one day. I tried on maybe 3-5 in each store, but fell in love with the very first dress I put on! My Maid/Matron of Honor flew up a few weekends later and we went to the first salon where I tried on *my* dress and two others to confirm my choice before I committed.

sooo many. I think probably like 40-50. It was so hard to find something I liked and that suited my body shape.

Went to two bridal stores and probably tried on about 10 total? Maybe 15? I would’ve for sure tried on more had I not found my dress at the second store.

I think mine was the 4th dress I tried on. It was a little over what my mom said the budget was so I didn’t really let myself consider it. There was another dress that was in the budget that everyone and myself liked that I thought was going to be the one but we didn’t purchase that day. The next morning I was looking at pictures of me in all of the dresses and I fell in love with the 4th one I tried on, it flattered me a lot more. I found out later that we could afford it that my mom just gave me a $ amount to tell the sales lady knowing she would pick some a little bit higher as well. So the dress I loved was within her max budget and we bought it.

Probably 9 or 10. But I never had a “this is the one” moment. I just picked the dress I liked best of the ones I’d tried within my price range.

I probably tried on 40 dresses in 4 different shops. Nothing felt quite right. I tried on “my” dress in one store but the sales lady was horrible so I didn’t buy. Then I couldn’t stop thinking about that dress, even though it was nothing like what I gat thought I wanted. Made an appointment with another salon that carried the same designer and ordered it that day.

I felt like I tried on a million and eventually got to where I dreaded another appointment because I started to feel like I was disappointing my mom and Mother-In-Law for that special moment. I went to every local boutique (about 5), David’s Bridal, Alfred Angelo. Finally went to Savannah and found it there and when we sat down to order I panicked and cried not like OMG I FOUND THE ONE but more like “holy shit after all this am I choosing the right one?”. Now the two bridal shops right by house constantly have dresses in their windows that look almost exactly like mine or what I wanted.

I had one appointment. As soon as I saw the dress on the mannequin (one that the bridal consultant and my family didn’t even notice or suggest), I knew it was the one. It was the third one I tried on, and then everyone insisted I try on the rest that the bridal consultant suggested, just to be sure (which was three more), but I already knew.
When I saw that dress, I just felt something, and it was so beautiful. Then, when I tried it on, I actually got teary eyed, which was something I didn’t expect (I’m generally not someone who is sentimental).
So, the dress was the third one I tried on, and I tried on six total. But really, I could have tried on only that one and been done.

Probably 20-25? It seemed like SO many!

Over 50. I had about 10 appointments, and on my 10th I found my dream dress!

Went shopping 3 times. The first time I tried on probably 8, the second time probably 4. I thought I had found the one I was going to get, so I went back to show my Mother in Law, ended up with a completely different dress after trying on 2 more to make my mother happy. The one I bought I had tried on my first visit, but didn’t like it because it was way too small and I couldn’t picture it, but they had one in my size the last time I was there…and the funny thing was that the dress I ended up buying was the dress I absolutely loved online. I guess I knew without knowing I knew.

I made 3 appointments at 3 shops all for one day. I tried on 6 dresses at my first appointment and bought the 6th one so we bailed on the other appointments and went and got pedicures 😀

My dress was the 2nd one I tried on. At my first appointment I tried on 6 or 7 dresses, but put on my two favorites again at the end. I then left and found myself looking up pictures of the 2nd dress all the time.
I made another appointment at the same store and they already had my dress waiting in the dressing room, so they obviously knew how much I loved it. I put it on first as a reminder, then probably tried on about 12 other dresses. I found some I LOVED, but when I put my dress on one more time at the end it was obvious that it was the one.
