I went to 3 stores – the first 2 I was just looking for ideas on styles pretty much.  I tried on about 30-40 dresses and my dress was the very last one I put on!

I went to 4 stores and tried on about 50 dresses, total. My dress was the 3rd to last dress I tried on. I tried it and loved it, took it off, tried on 3 more, put my dress back on and didn’t take it off until I made a down payment.

I went to one store (David’s Bridal) and tried on about 5 dresses before trying on the dress. I was actually pretty surprised that I found what I wanted at David’s Bridal. I was anticipating having to go to a local boutique.

I guess I really know what I like because the dress I ended up choosing was the one I wanted to try on first, but the only one left in my size was on the manequin so I felt bad asking her to take it off. That changed pretty quickly once I saw how much I hated how the other dresses looked on me.

I had seen my dress online (mainly on the Hive) and fell in love with it and it technically was the first one I tried on. Although I loved it and was pretty sure it was the one, I probably tried on 8 more before deciding it was it. I only went to one store. I can’t imagine having to go to multiple stores and trying on dozens of dresses – so tiring! lol

I probably tried on about 10.  I went looking at a local bridal shop and then set up an appointment to try on the dress I’d been googling and pinning for months. They didn’t have it right away, so I tried on many while it took them an hour to find it.  And it was just as amazing as I thought it would be!

I went to one store and it was the 4th dress I tried on. My dress wasn’t on my radar AT ALL and then a woman from alterations brought it over to me and said she’s been looking at the dresses I’ve been trying on and they’re not for me, but that this one was my dress. I was a little bit hesitant looking at it on the hanger, but as soon as I put it on everyone’s mouths dropped and it was perfect! 🙂

I was in 1 store and I probably tried on 20 dresses before the lady helping me remembered one in the window that was brand new.  It was the exact style of dress I had been looking for!

I didn’t walk into a single store. But, I generally know my measurements.

I ordered 2 dresses on-line. The first was a mistake. I’ve lost a lot of weight…and I’m still overweight…and I have a lot of ‘poof’ in the ol’ belly that even shapewear can’t even fully conceal. Needless to say, dress #1 not only was TIGHT, but it was very unflattering for my gut.

The second dress is empire waist. I’m glad that I’ll be able to relax and not feel like I’m being crushed if I eat too much at the wedding or something.

I went to an appointment at one store that had good reviews online, and tried on maybe 5-6 dresses, before I found The One.  It was not the style I was originally thinking–I had envisioned myself in a big princessy ballgown-type dress, but when I tried on these types of dresses, I realized they swallowed up my little 5’1 frame.  However, I had already been thinking I wanted an all-lace dress, and I ended up with a mermaid-style, lace Enzoani that I adored.

I went to 2 stores and tried on about 15-20 dresses. The first store was mainly just to get an idea of what I did and didn’t like, so that’s where I tried on the bulk of the dresses. The second store is where I found my dress. I saw it hanging up and had to try it on! Tried on about 5-6 after it just to be sure and the rest was history!
